I had been writing this story for some time but was a little hesitant about sharing it at first, although I loved the story and the characters. My niece came to visit and insisted on reading it while she was here, so I began printing out the story chapter by chapter. I could hardly keep up with Jenna asking for the next chapter, which made me realize I might have something special here. I began printing copies for family and friends around Texas, and they passed them on to their families and friends. It has been so exciting to hear the responses to this story that readers have shared with me. The following are just a few of the comments of some of my first readers:
