Think Green!

I combined St. Patrick's Day green and rain forests and green-related books about ecology, living green, and if they simply had green covers or the word 'green' in the title. The snake wrapped around the sign was made from an unusual piece of packing paper that had these crimped designs down the middle-- perfect for python skin. [See the green book Verdi displayed beside the snake]. I folded green bulletin board paper to cut about eight big palm leaves at a time (probably needs 16 or 24 total) and taped them all around the top of the loft bed.

I used artificial trees I'd picked up from garage sales (or someone's trash) and woven baskets to display the books. The palm tree trunk was made from torn pieces of packing paper stagger-taped to the loft bed pole. This project took about two hours to complete from start to finish.
